The Prayer

Sunday. The church's bell is ringing and I am still in bed.

— Grandma, which prayer do you like most? — my grandson asks. Without waiting for an answer, he starts repeating:

Angel of God, my guardian dear To whom God's love commits me here Ever this day be at my side.

— You should always pray like this Grandma, you will get better sooner — he whispers, cuddling me.
