Haibun and Tanka Prose: Welcome to Mike Montrueil

As of AHG 1:3, our June issue, Mike Montreuil is replacing Ray Rasmussen as Haibun & Tanka Prose Editor. Ray has moved to a position with Haibun Today as haibun co-editor with Glenn G. Coats but remains as one of the webmasters for AHG. We wish him well in his new position. Mike's bio is on our "editors" page and his guidelines for submissions are found on our "submissions" page.

Addition of an Index of Poets

In response to suggestions from our readers and for your ease in locating haiku, tanka and renku poets by name, AHG has established an index of poets in the haiku, tanka and renku sections. You can find this index at the bottom of the pages. This index has also been applied retrospectively to the AHG 1:1 haiku section.

Special thanks to Mike Rehling

Most readers of various online haiku-genre journals are unaware of the many contributions that Mike Rehling has made to the haiku world. Ours is but one journal of the many projects (journals, writers forums, personal websites) that he has sponsored on his Internet servers. Mike, a warm thanks for your help in launching and hosting A Hundred Gourds.
